Terms across all lines
What holds true whichever line you are buying.
- Delivery terms
- CFR Mogadishu, Bosaso, Berbera or Kismayo. Ex-warehouse Mogadishu. Delivered in city, or onward to the regional markets by pallet or full truck.
- Minimum order
- One 20ft container on cooking oil, one 40ft high-cube on the other four lines. Mixed containers are built to a buyer’s own split on pasta.
- Quotation
- Every quotation states the grade, the packing, the delivery term and how long the price holds. A quotation without a grade on it cannot be compared.
- Documentation
- Certificate of analysis, independent pre-shipment inspection certificate, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Phytosanitary certificate where the line requires it.
- Contract lines
- Flour is sold on monthly offtake against a held protein band. Rice is contracted seasonally with the crop year stated.
- Shelf life
- Remaining shelf life is stated on the delivery note, worked from milling date or production date rather than from the code printed on the bag.
